Merry Christmas

Dear e-Music Twinning Friends,
we would like to send you a song, as a Christmas-surprise :) Children sing about the Music, what connects our countries, connects us in our project.
Because it is in Hungarian, we would like to give you here the translation in English as well:

Rhythm is life
Music is rife
Only words can break your heart
They breathe you in, become your part
A song always remains your art
Only the lines keep you alive
The sweetest cure to find
Rhythm is life it helps you survive
It lingers in your mind
All our thoughts are different now
And we don't know where and when or how
In the dead of night we only dream alone
Crave for happiness till the dawn – this is our flesh and bone
There's someone you will hear
Someone to lend an ear
And someone who's at hand when you’re driven by fear
A song is to redeem
However hard it’s been
And all the joy you feel will devour the spleen
Let our humble music reach your ears
These words will dry up all the tears
Sailing upstream for forgiving
Makes the songs go on
Here everybody speaks and everybody tries
And some of them just cannot bear telling you lies
And someone plays the flute
The harp follows the lute
And the senses reel with the theme that is crude
Let our humble music reach your ears
These words will dry up all the tears
Sailing upstream for forgiving
Makes the songs go on...

Thank you for being with us, thank you for great Music adventure, making friends.
We wish you a Merry Merry Christmas,
and a Happy New Year with beautiful Music, Hungarian children and Mónika :-)

Message from Hungarian pupils

Dear All,
I would like to write you, this week we decided with Hungarian children to visit our blog the first time, and "meet" our new friends.

Unfortunately because of some tecnical problems we had the opportunity to use only one computer of our school, so pupils in small groups came to visit the blog, read your posts, and see your photos as well.

Beacuse of tecnical difficulties it was impossible for us writing comments, but I asked my pupils, what they would like to write to our new friends. Their answer was:we hope to play together, have fun and hope to meet soon :) .

Many many wishes, Mónika and the class 4a

HI EVERYBODY!

We are a school from Romania, near Oradea. The school from Sinmartin is a central institution divided in three branches (Kindergarten, Primary School, Elementary School) including nine buildings in the three surrounding localities. Our school is located near Baile Felix Resort. Baile Felix is a spa functioning all the year round. Thermal mineral springs are found in the surrounding region. The spa offers modern treatments based on hot baths, hot therapeutical mud paks, inhalations and aerosols. Among the spa’s facilities there are gymnasia, saunas, pools and so on. The spa is renowned for its efficiency in treating the rheumatic and inflammatory disorders, neurological disorders, gynaecological and endocrine diseases.
We have been keeping our school gates largely opened for centuries now and many series of children with different social needs or good social position have beneficiated from our services in the name of education. (Three buildings have offered for decades conditions of learning for generations of gypsy people, with poor social condition, encouraging their culture and positive attitudes from their own cultural environment, while on the other hand we have kept a strong connection with our children’s parents, important people from the community, ready to help us in our educative purposes and to offer their collaboration.)
Our pupils are between 7-15 years old. My name is Loredana Pantea and i am the music teacher in this school.

Hello from Italy, Casole d'Elsa

Hello everybody!

We are the Italian students and this pic is taken in front of our school, in Casole d'Elsa.

Casole d'Elsa is a nice small town in a beautiful countryside. It is in Tuscany, close to Siena and Florence.

We are very happy to start this project with our teachers and with all our European partners!

Hello from Hungary,Szeged :)

Hi everybody,

we are 21 students from Hungary. We are 9-10 years old. Our teacher is Miss Mónika Kiss.

We live in Szeged, in the south part of our country. Our town is one of the biggest Hungarian towns, and it's called the "City of Sunshine".
Let's see a photo of our cathedral, a simbolical bilding in Szeged, and another one with Hungarian flag and our colours: red, white and green.

We like play, learn, make friendship and
 have fun.

We like music but have never studied it and are very happy to be part of this project. :)

Many many wishes from Szeged, all children from class 4/a and Mónika
